Souper Bowl of CaringOur School is doing a Penny's War to raise funds for our Community in Action and fight childhood hunger.
The SouperBowl Penny Wars is a Student Council sponsored fundraiser for our local Community in Action to fight childhood hunger.
For every dollar raised, Community in Action can feed a family of 4 for a day! Our goal is to raise 500 dollars to feed 500 families for a day.
If we raise $500, Mr. Ivie (our fanatical UofU fan Principal) will wear a BYU T-shirt and be decked out in BYU swag for a day The contest runs for two weeks from February 5-16th
Here's how it works:
1) HELP your grade win by putting as many pennies as you can into your grade's container (located in the Middle School lobby). These all count as points FOR your grade.
2) SABATAGE other grades by putting as many nickel's, dimes, quarter, dollars etc in other grades' containers. Anything larger than a penny in your container counts AGAINST your total score. (nickels would be -5 point, dimes -10 points etc.)
3) The Grade with the highest point value wins an ice-cream sundae party during advisory on Friday, February 23rd!
