This year our Junior Youth and Senior Youth groups went head to head to see who could collect the most items for Boyertown Multi-service. The Senior Youth won, with a total of 364 items being collected by both groups during our two worship services. The youth also stood at the door ways at the end of both worship services with empty pots and collected $156 for Boyertown Multiservice. After the food and money were collected and packed into Pastor Kim's car the youth participated in a lunch simulation. They picked different countries blindfolded and were given lunch based on the country they received. This helped the youth to see what meals looked like in different countries and to experience how certain places, especially in America, we have access to a wealth and variety of food that other countries don't have. Some youth were full and satisfied after lunch and some left hungry. It was a meaningful day for everyone involved.
