On February 4, 2018, the congregation of Oak Grove Presbyterian Church in Bloomington, MN, collected 60 blankets for Bridging, a local organization that helps people transition to homes/apartments after transitional housing. The children gathered to make soup for congregation members who are sick or facing surgery. During worship, the children passed soup pots around the sanctuary, collecting over $400.00 to help a local food bank at VEAP. The children expressed how good it feels to share and help others.
