One City Centre is very active in the Charity Drive and sets up a football field in their Lobby. The Property Management and Engineers are very active and created the football field.

In 2014 we collected 445 cans of food to help support our local food banks. Let's exceed 2014 and make 2015 a winning season!! We started early with collecting canned goods over the holiday and what a GREAT response we had collecting over 100 cans just in the Dallas branch alone!

Aker Solutions Souper Bowl of Caring Cook-Off & Food DriveOn Thursday, January 30th, Aker Solutions held their 2nd Annual Souper Bowl of Caring Food Drive and Cook-Off benefiting the Houston Food Bank.
In exchange for $5 or 3 non-perishable food items, attendees received a bowl of homemade soup and chili. A total of $855 and 308 pounds of food was collected and donated to the Houston Food Bank.
Of the thirteen cooking teams registered, the top three teams in each category was recognized with a ribbon and full bragging rights!

Souper bowl of Caring 2014Thanks to all of our customers who helped us raise $302 and 106lbs of food!!! Each meal cost Meals on Wheels about $2.25. Our donations will create about 216 meals! Each of us also helped out for a few hours delivering the meals. It was alot of fun and we look forward to working together again.
Tackling Hunger One Branch At A TimeThis was GSG's first year to participate in the Souperbowl of Caring program. With a little over two weeks all five branches were able to raise over 445 cans of food for their local food pantry's.

Teaming Up for a Good CauseHampton Roads Specialty Hospital and Riverside Rehabilitation Institute teamed up this year to participate for the first time in the 2014 Souper Bowl of Caring event. We chose the Foodbank of the Virginia Peinsula as our charity, which we help throughout the year with other food drives. We had several locations throughout the hospital for people to drop off canned goods and other non-perishable items or money for the Souper Bowl of Caring event.
