The Falls Area Food Pantry was established in 1983 by twelve area churches to help meet the needs of residents laid-off from the Briggs and Stratton plant and others who needed food assistance in the Menomonee Falls, WI area. Today the Pantry continues to be supported by these partnering churches as well as many other local churches, businesses, schools, organizations, and individuals. The Pantry is managed by a volunteer staff and a volunteer board of directors. In August 2010, the Pantry moved to our present location at the former Village Water Department headquarters. The Village of Menomonee Falls graciously allows the Food Pantry to use the building for free although the Pantry pays for utilities and improvements. This new location provides us three times the space we previously had and gives us the opportunity to serve more members of our community.
