Print your own T-shirts

T-shirts are a great way to unify everyone participating in your Souper Bowl of Caring event. We offer a number of designs for purchase, but if you're looking for a more personal message on your shirts, you can create your own shirts at home

If your group is looking to make a large number of shirts, going to a professional printer may be the most time efficient. However there's a great and cheap way to make your own shirts at home on your home computer.

Iron-on Transfers

  1. Purchase Iron-on paper

You should be able to find Inkjet Fabric Transfer paper at your any office supplies store in the paper section (or online). Be sure to note onto what color of shirt you plan to print, so you can get light or dark fabric transfers.

  2. Make a Design

Depending on your design skills, you can make this as simple or as elaborate as you'd like. You can download our logo to add to your design.

Remember that your final design will need to be flipped horizontally so that it will iron on facing the right direction. Most graphics programs include a "Flip Horizontal" feature. Some printers offer the same feature in their options. You can even create your designs using Microsoft Word or PowerPoint

  3. Print

Load the paper into your printer and print away!

  4. Iron-on

If you've never used an iron before, be sure to ask your parents for help. Follow the directions as closely as possible on the back of the paper so you get a clean print (and not burn your shirt!).
