In early January, the 2017 Souper Bowl of Caring campaign kicked off to #TackleHunger in our local community. Over the last several weeks schools, places of worship, businesses and compassionate individuals coordinated food drives to support local charities of their choosing.
Many also purchased pre-packaged bags and made donations at local H-E-B, Central Market and Randalls stores to stock the shelves of the Central Texas Food Bank. Together, the Central Texas community generated more than $2.9 million meals!
