Since founding Souper Bowl of Caring back in 1990, Dr. Brad Smith is no stranger to spreading its message. However, last weekend was a first: virtually introducing Souper Bowl of Caring to a group of kids across the country.
Fern Hill Elementary School in West Chester, Pennsylvania, is starting their first year collecting as part of Souper Bowl of Caring. Brad, now the head pastor at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, was able to connect with their 5th grade class via video chat. He talked about giving and what it means to give back to your community.
Good luck with your first collection, Fern Hill!
