Join the Souper Bowl of Caring team on Monday, January 16 for the Central Texas Service Blitz, hosted at the Central Texas Food Bank. From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., spend some of this Martin Luther King Day holiday serving others.
This season, Souper Bowl of Caring participants hope to generate 2.75 million meals for the central Texas region. 100 percent of the collection benefits local food banks and charities, like the Central Texas Food Bank. Come volunteer in their new facility, and see the hard work it takes to serve 46,000 people each week. As a volunteer, you help prepare thousands of meals for neighbors who are hungry and in need.

No matter your age, you can make a big play in tackling hunger. In order to participate in the Service Blitz, participants must be at least 8 years old. Youth volunteers ages 8-17 must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older. Volunteers should wear closed toed shoes and shirts with sleeves in order to safely move about the warehouse. Take a look at what you can expect!
We don't know which two teams will be playing in the Big Game, but we do know our community will be tackling hunger and helping those in need!
