She first heard about the organization when her church participated in a chilli cook-off where all of the proceeds went to the Souper Bowl of Caring. This later sparked her interest in the National Youth Advisory Board.
In her spare time, Molly enjoys photography, painting and sketching, and if she could have any "souper" power she would choose the ability to fly. Molly also helps out with her church and volunteers in a group called People of the Planet, an organization dedicated to conservation and environmentalism.
Volunteering has fostered a servant's heart in her, and in the future, Molly wants to work with disabled children as a special needs teacher. She's learned that issues in her community don't pull people apart but infact pull them closer and get them to work together to fix it.
Through this experience, she hopes to learn about and experience the impact a community can make when they unite to tackle the issue.
